Whistler Mountain, Blackcomb Mtn. - Whistler Mountain enjoys a vertical of 1,530 metres (5020 feet) and Blackcomb climbs a bit higher at 1,609 metres (5280 feet). Both mountains dominate the skyline of the region and combine to create one British Columbia's most popular mountain destinations.

The mountains are a year round adventure destination attracting hikers, mountain bikers, golfers, skiers, snowboarders, snowshoers and snowmobilers to the Whistler resort area. On the mountain is over 30 gondolas, chairlifts, quads and surface lifts transporting adventure enthusiasts to all points on the mountains.

During the summer months the mountains transform into an extensive mountain biking and hiking destination. Many are drawn to the area because of the 200+ km mountain biking trail system consisting of downhill runs, lifts, ramps and jumps. The Whistler Mountain BIke Park caters to all levels of biking from easy green to double black expert runs.

During the winter months the Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains are two of the more popular skiing destinations in British Columbia, Canada attracting people from all around the globe who enjoy downhill skiing, xc skiing and snowboarding.

The ski area encompasses two world class mountains intertwined with over 200 ski trails. Whistler Mountain's trail system is comprised of 25% beginner, 55% intermediate and 25% advanced adventurer. Blackcomb Mountain caters a bit more to the experienced skier with only 15% of its trails designated at the beginner level, 55% intermediate and 30% advanced.

Whistler Village is the centre of attention at the bottom of the mountains. The full service community accommodates all who visit with a good selection of amenities. There are retail shops, sport shops, rental shops, eco tourism adventure companies, accommodations, coffee houses, banks, restaurants, galleries, attractions and more.
