Golf Courses - In and around the communities of Whistler, Squamish and Pemberton, BC, Canada are a few golfing destinations playing out in the valleys of Sea to Sky Country. The mountainous region makes way for 8 golf courses varying in difficulty and scenery.
The Whistler Blackcomb Village area has 3 professional well maintained golf courses. One of which was designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer. His first in Canada. Another golf course attracting golfers to the Whistler region was named after Jack Nicklaus himself. While a third course enjoys an elevation gain of over 400 feet providing golfers with spanning scenic views of the area.
Located south of Whistler Village is the community of Squamish, BC which is no stranger to golf. Here, there are 3 more quality golf courses with challenging fairways and fast greens. One golf course has many holes lined with water hazards which can drive any golfer crazy retrieving balls. Another golfing destination in the Squamish region is hidden among trees decorated with lakes. Just south of the village is Furry Creek and another golf course blessed with mountain views, scenic forest landscapes and teeters on the edge of Howe Sound.
Just north of Whistler is Pemberton BC and another 2 beautiful golf courses. Both are played out under the watchful eye of Mount Currie. One golfing destination plays a game of golf directly at the foot of Mount Currie while the other course is surrounded by ponds, lakes and rivers within sight of Mount Currie.
The Sea to Sky Country Golf Courses are all well maintained and most are part of the upper echelon of golf courses available to play in BC, Canada. All the courses include a pro shop supplying power carts, golf clubs and equipment.
All proposed golfing dates should be booked prior to your proposed tee off times. In peak months availability is slim and times to tee off scarce. Eh, book early and look out, Fourrr !
